Now, Christmas markets are becoming more popular and becoming a staple of the UK’s high street.With this in mind, we’ll take a look at in our own opinion the 5 best Christmas markets in the UK.
Nottingham Winterwonderland
Where: Old Market Square, Nottingham
When: 17th Nov – 31st Dec

Description: On the rise is this little-known secret within the East Midlands. This aptly named Winter Wonderland in Nottingham’s city centre is in a modern space within the market square. Overlooking the market is the 200-foot Neo-Baroque council building and not far away from Robin Hood’s Nottingham Castle.
Belfast Continental Christmas Market

Description: Boasting tonnes of activities throughout the park. This Christmas market is more akin to a Christmas festival. You’ll find fun for all the family within a festive city setting.
Bath Christmas Market
Where: City Centre, Bath
When: 23rd Nov – 10th December
Key Features: Market Stalls
Description: There’s over 200 stalls at this street market. Probably has the most the most stalls on this list. Integrated into the City Centre so you’re to be able to pick up a few things doing your Christmas shopping.
Manchester Christmas Market
Where: Albert Square, Manchester
When: Nov 10 – Dec 20
Key Features: Ice Rink, European Market
Description: The main hub for this Christmas Market is in Albert Square. But, it’s multi-site across the whole cityscape. This market also runs an innovative scheme for drinks. You pay a low fee for a mug or glass which you can use around all the stalls at the markets. The idea is to cut down on rubbish and it’s a great idea.
Edinburgh Christmas Market
Where: East Princess Street Gardens, Edinburgh

Description: Edinburgh’s Christmas markets is enormous. Encompassing near all the famous public park in the heart of the city centre. You’ll be able to spot the way to the market by the festive Ferris wheel.
